E.G. Simmons Park
October 2005

Kathy was one of 35 volunteers who helped haul nearly two acres of cut Brazilian pepper trees to chippers at the E.G. Simmons Park workday.

Volunteers like Roger worked side by side with personnel from Hillsborough County’s parks department to clear invasive Brazilian peppers from a shoreline at the park’s campground.

Wendy and Cheryl were still smiling after a long but productive morning of dragging pepper trees to the chippers.

Taking a water break.
